Attitude of Gratitude

I am so thankful for many many things in my life. Some are noticed easily and some are within. My life may not be perfect, exciting or rich but its my life and I wouldn't change it, because of it, IT MAKES ME WHO I AM!!!

My Attitude of Gratitude for this week:

-Being able to practice whatever religion my heart desires without persecution.

-This wonderful beautiful fall weather we have been having. Keep crossing my fingers it lasts just a little longer :)

-For great wonderful friends who know me and know just what to say and when.

Been a long time

It has been a long time since I have blogged. I kept telling myself that I needed to get back to it. But alas life happens.

Not to long after my last post, on Sept 1, 2009 I tripped and broke my left arm. I did it up good. I tripped on a baby bouncer and fell while carrying a tv tray table. I could not catch myself and down I went, and ended up breaking the top ball of my humorous bone off. I had surgery on Sept 16 and they had to replace the bone in my arm. Went through physical therapy for a long time and now I am left with an arm that does not cooperate in the way I want and wish it to. Well life goes on and you make due with what life deals you. Because of the status of my arm and the lack of movement I have, I no longer am working at a job I really did love. I could not do restraints any more textbook style. I am now among the ranks of the unemployed. I have not been out of a job for more then 20+ years. It is a whole new world. One of confusion, amazement and wow. I am going through the process of going or disability and that takes time. But right now time is what I seem to have a lot of. Will see where the next adventure my life will take.

Also since the last time I posted, I have a new great granddaughter born Jan 7, 2010. She is beautiful and so loving. I watch her while my granddaughter works. She smile so big when she sees me. I love it. My granddaughter graduated high school in June 2010. Had a wonderful party for her. Lots of great memories that day and a wonderful friend of mines husband took pictures of the party and of family. All in all a great day.

My Attitude of Gratitude for today is: my family and all that they mean to me, the beautiful weather we have been having, enjoying the time I spend watching my great granddaughter and the big smile she gives me when she sees me.
